Tunnel Grjóta, Iceland
The tunnel represents a part of Karahnjukar Hydroelectric Projekt, specifically the Hraunaveita part. It is located in the Highlands, the eastern part of Iceland close to the biggest European glacier Vatnajokull of 8.300 km2.

Construction technology: excavation works with use of drilling-blasting works /NTM- Norwegian tunneling method/
Executed works:
- drilling works with use of Tamrock Axera Data T08 drilling car with hammer power of 22kW
- blasting works with use of emulsion blasting agent of slurry type, plastified by water, with non-electric exploder NONEL, Mini-SSE charging device
- loading and removal of mucking material by wheel loader VOLVO L180 sith side discharge hopper and lorries MB Actros 4131
- rock stabilisation support
