Description of realisation:
The above mentioned construction project was the most important order of our company in this area of activities in the period of 2013-2014. The subject of the project was reconstruction of sewage collector A VIII in Botanická street in Bratislava which was realised by building new sewage collector in twin profile 2 x DN 2000 in the section between the inspection chamber Š1 (near the existing inspection chamber Š12 of the original sewage collector) to newly constructed access chamber VŠ4 of total length 2 x 303 metres (1st stage).
Construction technology:
Realisation of the construction was performed mostly by mining procedures and partly in an open excavation pit (length 2 x 25,0 m). The built-in tubes are made of centrifugally cast fibreglass of SN 10 000 toughness. There were 2 atypical monolithic junction chambers, 4 fibreglass check chambers and 1 atypical monolithic downfall chamber built in the section. Shifting of following mains were realised as a part of sewage reconstruction: water main DN 800 in length of 76 metres, water main DN 200 in length of 11 metres, gas main DN 200 in length of 25,5 metres, hot water main 2 x DN 125 in length of 22,0 metres including compensator chamber, tram overhead line and 22 kV electric power line in length of 104,0 metres.
